Njord Aqua har sammen med partnere i Kroatia fått innvilget støtte til et prosjekt som går på automatisk detektering og identifisering av groe: AI-driven FISH TANK INSPECTION

Prosjektet er relatert til inspeksjon av nøter og tanker brukt i fiskeoppdrett, der man ved hjelp av AI-støttet bildeanalyse analyserer behovet for spyling/tiltak. I essens vil dette kunne bety at man går fra intervalbasert til behovsbasert spyling eller rengjøring av tanker.

Project Title: AI-driven FISH TANK INSPECTION
Short project description

Development and validation of automatic analysis services, based on AI, to inspect fish tanks fouling overgrown, providing objective information about the actual need for cleaning fish tank/fishnets.
This service protects the environment (reduce the spill of copper based anti-fouling to the seabed) and the primary effect is reduction of usage of anti-fouling, specifically copper-based resin, needed to clean the nets.
